HI!
My name is Tammy Szymczak. I would like to share with you a little bit of our background and philosophy on Dogs Love Running!
My husband is in the corporate information technology field and I am a registered nurse. With my past experience in the health care field (both hospital and home health), I believe that the health of any individual begins with exercise and eating right. I was always very careful to include this when doing patient teaching and it just made perfect sense to me that this was missing with our canine friends!
After having been in the corporate world for a number of years, Dave and I felt like it was time to do the things in life we LOVE doing…being OUTSIDE and being with ANIMALS. We love to help people and their pets!
My husband and I have a dog of our own named Marley who is 2 ½ years old and still thinks he is a puppy. He is a Morkie, who is a hoot to be with. We absolutely love him and have so much fun watching our daughter play with him. Okay, to be perfectly honest, WE have a blast playing with him, too! We also have a yellow-belly turtle named Aqua and a parakeet named Summer.
Dave, myself and our daughter all currently volunteer at the Indy Humane Society because of our love for animals and the importance of service in giving back to the community. Also, as a family, we always try to do some form of exercise daily and have seen the huge benefits to our own health.
With our experience, background and knowledge of how exercise helps people, we also know how much this can help our pets no matter their size, age and breed. So let us help you with your pet and get them outside running/walking and exercising! This will help them to not only live longer, but also behave better and be happier, which is our mission!
