Like Marc Anthony says, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
I have been lucky enough to prove that quote to be true. To say that I’m an animal lover is an understatement.
Growing up, my family has always had animals in the house. My sisters and I would bring home strays with hopes our parents would cave and say we can keep them.
My husband, Jim, and I have an orange tabby, rescue cat of our own, named Simba (Jim’s favorite movie is The Lion King).
I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in professional leadership studies from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, yet my passion has guided me towards a career taking care of animals.
I previously worked with Dogs Love Running! in our Naperville office for four and a half years as a dog walker and operations manager. What started out as a job to make money to get through college there turned in my lifelong dream of owning my own dog walking business and helping owners, like you, care for their furry kids with my own office here in the Barrington area.
I fully believe in the philosophy behind Dogs Love Running! that exercise will help every dog live longer and behave better.
